Help us grow the encyclopaedia by suggesting new topics and improvements

Islamic Heritage is a living encyclopaedia that grows with the contributions and suggestions of its readers. If there's a topic, personality, event, or aspect of Islamic civilization you'd like to see covered, we want to hear from you.

New Features

We also welcome ideas for improving the platform:

How to Submit a Suggestion

Send your suggestion to:

contact@islamicheritage.org

Please include:

  • The topic or article you're suggesting
  • A brief explanation of why it would be valuable
  • Any sources or references you're aware of (optional but helpful)
  • Which era or category it falls under

What Makes a Good Suggestion

The best suggestions align with our encyclopaedia's standards:

  • Historical significance: The topic has genuine historical importance in Islamic civilization
  • Sufficient material: Enough scholarly sources exist to write a 6,000–12,000 word article
  • Educational value: The topic would help readers understand Islamic history better
  • Neutral treatment possible: The subject can be covered objectively without advocacy or controversy

Our Commitment

We review all suggestions carefully. While we cannot guarantee that every suggestion will be implemented, every idea helps us understand what our readers value and guides our editorial planning. Topics that receive multiple requests naturally move higher on our priority list.

When a suggested topic becomes an article, it goes through the same rigorous process as all our content — scholarly research, comprehensive coverage, proper references, and quality review.

Current Coverage
